Our Upcycled Ingredients

Our story started with the idea of giving used coffee grounds a new lease of life. We’ve now collected and transformed more than 450 tonnes of brewed coffee alone.

But why stop there? We've come a long way since then and are now known as the pioneers of by-product beauty, upcycling more than 50 leftover ingredients. Let's get to know them!

PRICKLY PEAR EXTRACT

The UpCircle Deodorant is made with upcycled prickly pear from the food industry for its antimicrobial properties and to keep you fresh all day.

Our perfume ‘Flaura’ is formulated with upcycled jasmine which gives a fresh floral facet to the heart notes. The unsold flowers are collected from flower markets.

Our Peptide Serum features upcycled custard apple pulp leftover by the juicing industry. It's a skincare powerhouse that promotes a harmonious balance for the skin.

The UpCircle Home Mist is made with upcycled grapefruit water, evaporated from juice concentrates by the juicing industry. The water is enriched with vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

PINK BERRY EXTRACT

The UpCircle Shampoo is made with leftover pink berries from the fragrance industry to soothe the scalp and strengthen hair. It's clinically proven to improve scalp irritation and flakes.

ORANGE PEEL

The UpCircle Conditioner Crème is formulated with upcycled orange peel wax which has intense conditioning properties that soften and moisturise the hair. It's leftover from gin distilling.

The UpCircle SPF is made with upcycled raspberry seed extract, a nourishing and lightweight active oil which is cold pressed from the seeds of the waste pulp.

The UpCircle Milk Cleanser is made with upcycled oat powder to repair and preserve the skin's moisture barrier. The husks are a by-product of making cereal and oat milk.

The UpCircle Lip Balm is made with upcycled hemp seed oil to nourish and hydrate dry lips. The plants are grown to make fabrics and for the CBD industry.

Our Body Oil is made with upcycled virgin passion fruit oil to repair and soothe the skin. The seeds are leftover from the production of ice cream and liquor.

The UpCircle Night Cream is made with the antioxidant-rich extract of upcycled blueberries. We collect the pulp that is leftover from juicing the blueberries.

We collect coffee grounds from an ever-growing portfolio of artisan cafes. The antioxidants in coffee increase as it’s brewed!

Ten aromatic organically-sourced chai spices are used to make chai syrup. We resurrect these spices to give our cleansing bars their seductively intoxicating aroma.

Our Face Toner is made with skin-soothing chamomile stem extract. The stems are a by-product of the separation of the leaves & flowers during the production of tea.

The UpCircle Face Moisturiser is made with the finely-ground powder of discarded argan shells, a natural by-product of the argan oil industry run by women's cooperatives.

The UpCircle Face Mask is made with olive stones leftover from the production of olive oil in Andalucia, in the heart of the Spanish olive growing region.
