FAVE PRODUCT: Hand + Body Wash – I have three young children and we need a lot of this product! I like that it’s multifunctional, easy to refill and gentle for all the family. Close second is our Shampoo and Conditioner Crème duo.
The Story-Teller.
If Will is all about numbers, Anna is all about words. Going to an event? She’ll be on the panel. Visiting a show? She’ll say Hi first! Reading an article? Chances are, Anna wrote it.
FAVE PRODUCT: The Cleansing Milk – it’s the product I use the most, morning and night. My skin is on the drier side, so to have a cleanser that makes my skin feel clean, without the “squeaky clean” (i.e. dry!) feeling, is wonderful. Our Flaura Eau de parfum is also getting a mention because I ADORE it.
One of our favourite catch phrases is “The only limit to circular skincare is a lack of imagination.” We’ve got a unique concept which means that each product in our range has a unique sourcing story. Clara is essentially a matchmaker – she looks at what products we want to make, and pairs them with the upcycled ingredients whose benefits fit that product. She’s always two years into the future, making sure that everything we’re developing is innovative and delivers excellent results for your skin.
FAVE PRODUCT: Our Eye Cream is my favourite product. I love the distinctive smell of coffee, I love how it naturally depuffs my under eye area and it's a great makeup primer as well! I also have to say the Santelle perfume – it was the first UpCircle product that I lead the development of from initial concept to final product so I’m proud of it. Plus, it smells beautiful, of course.
As a brand within the beauty industry it‘s VERY important that we have beautiful visuals. Giulia is the personification of creativity. FAVE PRODUCT: Our Coffee Body Scrub, it leaves my skin so soft and hydrated and I'm addicted to the smell - it takes me straight back to summer memories!
We’ve got quite a lot of products in our range now, from facecare to bodycare to haircare to accessories. Some come in both full-size, travel-size, sample-size and with US spellings. That means a whole lot of packaging design work, ensuring our range has the highly aesthetic, uniform, characteristic look that we’ve built here at UpCircle. That’s not all Pizzo does, he’s also creating flyers, promotional graphics and a whole lot more.
FAVE PRODUCT: The Shampoo Crème. It has a lovely texture, amazing fragrance and greatly helped my dry scalp condition. I can't stop telling my friends how good it is!
Notice that little pop up box that appeared when you came on to our website? Well, Misha’s on the other side of it – answering skincare questions, matching you with the best products, even offering one to one video consultations! Misha is the person making sure our UpCirclers have everything they need!
FAVE PRODUCT: The Cinnamon + Ginger Cleansing Bar is my fave - it smells so good and it’s really helped keep my skin clear! I’d be lost without it now.
You order it, then you pay for it, then we send it, then you enjoy it. Harry makes sure those middle steps happen smoothly! As our brand grows and our sales team continue to smash their targets, the number of invoices, bills and bank accounts flies through the roof too. Harry monitors what’s going well, where we can improve, and gives the wider team the insights they need about where our money is being made and spent.
FAVE PRODUCT: Our Face Oil has loads of uses which I love. It works very well on my beard to keep it looking sharp and fresh!
We ship UpCircle products globally. We’re sending our range to big name retailers throughout the UK, Europe, America and Australia! Getting our products into people’s hands is arguably the most important thing we do. Everything we work towards leads us to the point where our UpCirclers are in contact with the finished product – but the products don’t just land into people’s hands by magic! It’s all managed by our warehouse whizz Drew.

Rosie and Drew are the second set of siblings in the UpCircle Team. To be honest, they’re a great example to Anna and Will of how to work with your sibling! Rosie first joined UpCircle to help Drew out over the busy festive season, but she was so incredible we just couldn’t let her go! Rosie also helps with the processing of some of our upcycled ingredients, like de-stemming and dehydrating the gorgeous rose petals we use in our Bath Salts.
FAVE PRODUCT: My favourite product is the Face Oil as I have very dry skin. The oil keeps my skin fully hydrated throughout the year and gives a gorgeous glow!
Remi works alongside Rosie and Drew at the heart of UpCircle, our warehouse. Not only is she packing up wholesale orders like there’s no tomorrow, she’s also out EVERY DAY on our E-bike collecting coffee from our café partners. Our refill scheme is also a significant role for our warehouse team, it grows month on month and it wouldn’t be possible without the incredible trio we have making it happen behind the scenes.
FAVE PRODUCT: The Hand Cream is my number one. It absorbs well and nourishes my hands. The heavenly smell is an added bonus, it’s the hibiscus for me!
Ujjwal first joined Team UpCircle to help us out with the behind the scenes madness of our first ever “Twelve Days of Beauty” advent calendar in the run up to Christmas 2022. Before we knew it, the festive chaos started ramping up the following year and we just HAD to have Ujjwal back! When the going gets tough, Ujjwal saves the day. He will turn his hand to any warehouse task – wholesale orders, coffee collecting, rose petal dehydrating, sterilising refill packaging. What a hero.
FAVE PRODUCT: I have to say the night cream because it has done wonders for my skin.
Katy has attended trade shows on behalf of UpCircle across the UK and abroad. She’s also set up retailer window displays and trained store staff far and wide on all things UpCircle! It’s also a good thing we all love Katy’s phone voice because this gal is on the phones 24/7. Boutiques, spas, hotels, online stores – we want UpCircle in them all! There’s a “Hi this is Katy calling from UpCircle” imitation from someone in our team at least once a day. Sorry Katy. We’re just jealous.
FAVE PRODUCT: I love anything coffee based. My favourite product has to be the Face Oil and Eye Cream, but shoutout to the Chai Latte Candle too - I can't get enough of that either!
Sophie is the primary contact for our key retail accounts and focuses on building relationships and leveraging our brand and marketing efforts with respect to each big retailer. There’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to retailers, as Sophie knows all too well!
FAVE PRODUCT: Our Hand + Body Lotion is a must, I can't get enough. It makes my skin super soft and smells delightful!
Stock comes in, stock goes out. That’s operations at its most basic. The reality is a whole lot more complicated! We’ve got ingredients, packaging, manufacturing and equipment all needing to materialise at the right time, in the right quantities. With varied lead times, locations and personalities to contend with, you need an organisational wizard. V is just that.
Tracking each element of an UpCircle product back to its origin is a complex and fascinating task. Each thing, be it an ingredient or a piece of packaging has its own journey from point A to B. Phil works closely with V and Ellie to ensure that all of our suppliers are at the right point on our product timeline to ensure safe transit and delivery. With multiple warehouses and infinite couriers, this job needs a dream logistics and operations team. With Phil, V and Ellie on board, we’re the lucky ones.
FAVE PRODUCT: The toner – I actually keep the travel version in my backpack all the time. It’s a great post gym spritz of freshness.

With three separate UK, US and European websites and a combined social and email audience of over 200,000, we need someone creative and organised like Alice to make sure every product page, blog post and image is looking tip top.
FAVE PRODUCT: Our Face Toner, I love how versatile it is - I mainly use it to prep my skin before applying moisturiser and makeup, but I also love using it to refresh my face on especially hot days! My secret tip is keeping it in the fridge for an extra refreshing feeling.
It’s not just boutiques and health food stores that stock our range. Due to our unique approach to sourcing ingredients from all sorts of industries our reach can be a lot more varied. Mimi has the task of convincing other types of establishments to spare some shelf space for us. Think garden centres, corporate offices, hotels, salons, spas, coffee shops and many more. No small task…
FAVE PRODUCT: The Cleansing Face Balm. I use it every day to take off my makeup! I love its spa-like scent and it’s perfect for removing waterproof mascara.
Celia is the genius behind the “Caffeinated Duo.” She manages digital advertising and creates brilliant ads that find us brand new customers every day. She’s a nightmare for the ops team, because just one of her ads can cause a big unexpected spike in sales on a single product – but we reckon that’s a good problem to have!
FAVE PRODUCT: Well, it’s got to be the Caffeinated Duo, right?! I’m pretty pleased I put two existing but themed products in a box and that that resulted in a major supply issue because it was so popular!! Sorry ops team.
