When will you see results?

  • 3 min read

When it comes to skincare we're all on our own journey - some of us are trying to balance oily skin whilst others are looking to quench dehydrated skin. We all have one goal in common, though, to feel comfortable, confident, and love our unique skin.

We have a range of award-winning, skin-loving products to help you achieve your skincare goals! As with everything in life, some results are instant, some take their time to appear and most importantly not everyone’s skin will produce results at the same time.

Different people, different skin

The general rule of thumb is that you should allow 1-3 skin cycles to start seeing long term results and an overall improved complexion. Allowing 1-3 cycles gives products a chance to improve the health of your cells and bring the new healthy cells to the top for all the world to see.

A skin cycle is a process where a new skin cell is formed at the deepest layer of the epidermis and works its way up to the surface of the skin and the old cells shed (a bit like a snake but less dramatic.) The average length of a skin cycle is 28 days. As we age this process slows down- new plump and healthy cells can take longer to make their way to the skin’s surface (exfoliation can help to speed up this process).

That’s not to say you won’t see results sooner though, with most of our products they have an instant effect and then a long-term effect. Professionals recommend trialling a new routine for a minimum of 3 months for the full effects to take place and remain.

Consistency is key when it comes to seeing results. If you’re always chopping and changing your routine you won’t get the best out of the products and your skin can end up looking or feeling worse. Finding products that work for your skin is a marathon, not a sprint.
