Step 1 – First Cleanse
The first cleanse in your routine is about helping to melt away makeup and removing the surface layer of dirt, pollution and toxins from the day. Every time you use the Cleansing Face Balm, the 100% natural formulation prepares your skin for a deeper second cleanse.
Skin Type: Suitable for all skin types.
How to use: Simply apply the balm to all areas of the face, including around the eye area, before removing thoroughly with a muslin cloth or flannel. Skin should feel cleansed and refreshed, but not stripped, dry or tight!
Frequency: Daily
Top Tip: You can also use the cleansing balm to remove eye makeup!
Step 2 – Second Cleanse
With your skin halfway through its cleansing routine, it’s now prepped for a deeper, more thorough cleanse. This is where a water-based cleanser is vital, such as our Fennel & Cardamom Chai Soap Bar. It can penetrate more deeply into the pores to remove impurities deeper in the pores, thus helping prevent breakouts, build-up and spots.
Skin type:- Oily / combination: Fennel & Cardamom
- Sensitive, Dry, Dehydrated: Cinnamon & Ginger
How to use: Dampen face and apply soap bar with a little water to lather.
Frequency: Daily
Step 3 - Exfoliate
With your skin thoroughly cleansed, you’re now prepped to exfoliate! Our body and face exfoliators help to buff away dead, dry skin to reveal fresh glowing skin underneath. Regular exfoliation helps to prevent buildup and spots.
Skin type :- Normal – dry: Lemongrass or Tangerine Body Scrub, Citrus Face Scrub
- Sensitive: Cacao Body Scrub, Floral Face Scrub
- Oily - Combination: Peppermint Body Scrub, Herbal Face Scrub
How to use: Our oil-based scrubs should always be applied to damp skin. Make sure to shake the tube to ensure the oils are mixed, then squeeze out into palm of hands. Apply in circular motions, leave a short moment and then rinse.
Frequency: Both body and face scrub can be used 2-3 times per week.
Step 4 - Tone
With your skin now cleansed and exfoliated, it’s time to give it some love! Our Toner is great for hydrating and soothing skin at home or on the go. Made with hydrating residual water of green mandarin fruit, a by-product of the juicing industry, and skin-soothing chamomile stem extract, a by-product of the tea industry.
Skin Type: All skin types, including oily skin.
How to use: Apply to fingertips or cleansing pad and gently sweep over face. Can also be used as a mist - spritz over the face at any time to revitalise.
Frequency: Twice daily
Top Tip: Carry this Toner around in your bag for bursts of hydration throughout the day
Step 5 - Eye Cream
Before you apply your Face Moisturiser it’s good to give your eyes some extra care! Our Eye Cream is great for firming, brightening and protecting the delicate skin around your eyes. The maple bark extract is rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E and will help to protect skin through high levels of ellagic acid. The caffeine-rich coffee oil will help to reduce puffiness and dark circles and make eyes shine.
Skin Type: Suitable for all skin types.
How to use: Press the pump once to release a small amount of cream onto your finger tips. Dab onto the delicate eye area and allow the cream to soak into the skin.
Frequency: Twice daily

Step 6– Moisturise
You are nearly finished with you routine now but these last steps are crucial, first up is Moisturiser! As a general rule of thumb - when moisturising, using the lightest, water-based products first when layering your skincare. Our Face Moisturiser has cocoa butter and aloe vera to soothe and nourish the skin.
Skin Type: All skin types, including oily skin.
How To Use: Apply with fingertips, massaging upwards, outwards motions.
Frequency: Twice daily
Step 7 – Hydrate
As the next step in your skincare routine, use an oil-based, water-free serum to deliver intense nourishment and hydration. Through a combination of linoleic-acid rich oils and vitamin C, our Face Serum helps to promote the production of collagen, keeping skin supple.
Skin Type: All skin types, including oily skin.
How To Use: Apply a few drops to damp skin with fingertips, massaging in slowly in circular motions.
Frequency: Twice daily
Top Tip: Spend 30 seconds slowly massaging the Serum into your face. A facial massage will help to relax tension, improve blood flow to the face and can help to make skin glow!

Real Results, Real People
Hi Ashleigh,
Thank you for your comment!
Double cleansing once per day is usually sufficient to make sure skin is properly cleansed- in the evening is the best to remove the days wares from your skin! In the morning just cleansing with a Chai Soap will leave your skin feeling ready for the day and remove any impurities that may have built up over night.
Let us know if you need anything else :)
hi there, the balm cleanser and soap bars say to use daily, so how does it work as a day and night routine best? is it better to use one or the other in the morning for at night? I’ve been doing a full cleanse in the evening and then just using the soap in the the morning followed by moisturiser and serum. I don’t want to strip my skin as im prone to spots and dry skin but surely I need to do something in the morning to get rid or the dead skin from over night?
thanks
Hi Justine,
We recommend using the Mask 2-3 times per week. For best results apply after you have cleansed your skin, sit back and relax for 10 mins until it is dry and then rinse with warm water or a damp cloth (UpCircle organic muslin squares are ideal) to reveal fresh, cleansed skin. Applying your Moisturiser and Serum afterwards will help to lock in all the great benefits!
When do you apply the face mask and how often?
Hi Mimi,
Thank you for your comment! We agree that as everyones skin is unique you will need to play around to find out what works best for your skin. We recommend using the Serum after the Moisturiser but if you find it works better the other way round then that is fine too!
We can’t wait to hear what you think of the Serum.
