Vegan Soy Candles

Part of what makes a house a home is the atmosphere that you create within the space. A great way to do this is simply by lighting some deliciously scented candles and letting them infuse the room with a comforting aroma. 

At UpCircle, we have two vegan soy wax candles, each upcycling ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.

Chai Latte Soy Wax Candle

Our Chai Latte Soy Wax Candle is infused with residual chai spices, a byproduct of the tea industry. The spices are originally used to produce chai syrups. Water is poured through the spice mix, but the spices still smell amazing after the process is over. 

The chai spice blend consists of ten hand-sourced spices, including nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cloves. We naturally dry the spices first, then grind them down before infusing them into our vegan candles.

The warming scent of our chai infused soy wax candle is carefully crafted to create a decadent yet comforting aroma. You’ll find the soothing scent of sweet vanilla, mixed with cosy cinnamon and nutmeg.

Espresso Martini Soy Wax Candle

Enveloping and warm, our Espresso Martini Soy Wax Candle is a fan-favourite to set a calming atmosphere in the home. This natural candle is infused with upcycled top-quality Arabica coffee grounds sourced from a portfolio of around 100 small chain and independent coffee shops across London.

When coffee grounds are sent to landfill they rot to produce methane, a greenhouse gas. The UK sends 500,000 tonnes of coffee to landfill per year. Our coffee range has rescued over 450 tonnes of coffee from this fate. 

Carefully crafted to create a scent that’s both elegant and rich, notes of coffee and vanilla fill your space when this candle is lit.

Scented Soy Wax Candle Set

Can’t choose between the two scrumptious scents? You don’t have to!  With our Scented Soy Wax Candle Set, you get both full-size candles and a lovely 10% discount.

Important information: 180ml, with a burn time up to 35 hours. Made with sustainably-sourced soy wax. 

Top tip: Leave around one centimetre of wax unburned in the bottom of the jar to avoid the glass overheating and cracking. 

How to use

Sometimes it isn’t quite as simple as lighting the flame and leaving the candle to do its job. Have you experienced a candle that frustratingly won’t burn to the edges? That’s tunnelling, and we’ve included some information on how to stop this from happening to your candles. 

1. How to avoid tunnelling 

The first time you light the candle, ensure you let it burn for at least an hour, and for a maximum of two hours. This allows the wax to melt and pool right to the edges of the candle the first time you light it. 

If you don't leave the candle to burn long enough for this to happen, the flame has to work harder to reach the edge of the glass which can cause tunnelling.

2. Trim your wick 

Snip the candle wick to five millimetres (a quarter of an inch) before every burn to make sure it stays in optimum condition at all times.

Stainless Steel Wall Bracket

Our bespoke matte black Stainless Steel Wall Bracket is made to house your Body Wash and Body Lotion safely and securely. 

Completely plastic free, this made-to-measure bracket firmly secures your glass bottles to the wall and has a cut out grid pattern on the bottom panel to allow for drainage, ensuring that any drips do not form a puddle beneath the bottles. 

If the pumps are unscrewed from the bottlenecks, the bottles can easily be removed to enable you to refill or replace the bottles.
