We are over the moon to announce the launch of our "Return, Refill, Reuse" scheme. At UpCircle, we'll never compromise on our mission to leave the world better than we found it, so we asked ourselves: how do we become even more sustainable? The answer: by reusing and refilling returned packaging, of course! 🌎

All UpCirclers are invited to help us close the loop (or, as we prefer, 'circle') on packaging. From Body Scrubs to Cleansing Balms, you'll now be able to reuse and relove your products time and time again. Hurrah!

As a brand designed entirely around circular economy principles and extending the life of by-product ingredients, it’s a no brainer for us to take the same approach with our packaging. Circular ingredients, circular use of packaging. It just makes sense!” 💭

We know you guys have been excitedly waiting for a refill scheme, so we are thrilled to be going ‘full circle’ in time for Earth Day. It’s never been more important to reduce our demand on the planet where we can. All UpCircle packaging is 100% recyclable, meaning whether someone chooses to return or recycle their packaging, our products will always remain planet-friendly. 

So, how does it work?

First things first, it was important to us to keep costs for our customers and our carbon footprint down. To keep costs as low as possible we are offering a 20% discount on all refills, as well as a free post label for free returns. Whereas to minimise our carbon footprint, all refills will be sent to our warehouse in London. 🚛  Simple and sustainable, just how you guys like it. 

First you purchase a refill product in order to receive your freepost label, then wash your empty product and pop it back in its box to be shipped to us. 📦  Easy, huh? Check out our "how to" page for a step-by-step guide.

How is the product sterilised?

Once we receive your washed and empty product, Drew, Remi and Rosie, our refills experts, will sterilise the product using dry heat. This is a chemical-free process that destroys any bacteria present by exposing the glass packaging to very high temperatures for a prolonged period of time. This process will take place every Thursday and all products will be shipped back out on a 48-hour service - you'll never have to go long without your skincare heroes! 💚

We're so excited to offer refills on over 98% of our skincare range!* We are currently set up to offer refills of the: Cleansing Face Balm; Cleansing Face Milk; Face Mask; Eye Cream; Face Moisturiser; Night Cream, Face Toner; Face Serum; Face and Body Scrubs; Body Cream; Shampoo Crème; Hand + Body Wash and Lotion and Bath Salts.
