120 billion units of packaging are produced every year by the global cosmetics industry, bulked out by the use of complex lids, multi-layered boxes and cellophane, much of which is superfluous, non-recyclable and ends up in our landfills and oceans.

The packaging across our range is 99% plastic-free and we offer plastic-free refill options for the 1%. In addition, you can return your empty packaging to us to be returned and refilled, all at a 20% discount! More info available here.

HOW TO RECYCLE OUR PACKAGING:

Our products come in glass not plastic. All glass bottles and jars can go straight into your normal recycling. Just give them a quick rinse!

Plastic-free Lid Options

We never want the user experience of our products to be compromised by our choice of packaging. We therefore have small elements of plastic in the lids of some products in order that they can be applied effectively.

However, for any product that has a plastic lid, we offer an aluminium cap refill option. Simply keep the pipette / pump / spray from your first bottle, and switch it across to your new one!

Our cardboard is FSC certified, helping to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come.

Our shipping boxes come with two glue strips at the top so that you can reuse the same box to return your empty jars to us for refilling!

Marketing Materials

Aside from our actual products, our marketing materials are made from paper that’s made from recycled coffee cups and we only use paper tape which has been made from recycled fibres.

Protective Packaging

To protect our products sent in wholesale shipments we use biodegradable corn starch "peanuts". They're plastic-free, vegan and dissolve in water!
