We believe good skincare should not go to waste, especially when there is still plenty left in the packaging. With a few simple habits, you can make your products last longer and reduce unnecessary waste. If you are keen to make the most of what you already have, here are a few practical ways to use every last drop.
Use a Tube Squeezer
Before you recycle that "empty" tube, there is often more product inside than it seems. Our Tube Squeezer Key helps push everything neatly towards the opening so less product is left behind. It also keeps tubes looking tidy, without the usual rolling and folding.
Tip: start using your tube squeezer before the tube feels empty. It helps keep the product moving down evenly.

Cut Open Tubes Carefully
If a tube no longer dispenses product, even with a tube squeezer, cutting it open can reveal some remaining product inside.
Please make sure to:
- Use clean scissors
- Transfer the remaining product into a clean container
- Use within a few days
Refill Your Travel Sizes
If you use our travel sizes for weekends away or your gym bag, try refilling them from your full size products instead of opening a new travel size. Using one of our Cosmetic Spatulas makes the process cleaner and more precise!
Method:
- Open your full size product
- Use the mini spatula to transfer into your travel container
- Gently tap the container to remove air gaps
- Close the container securely

Skip the Pipette
Pipettes can struggle to pick up product when the bottle is nearly empty. To ensure the final drops are used, when you are down to the last few uses:
- Unscrew the pipette.
- Carefully pour the remaining product into your palm.
- Apply as normal.
(This tip works especially well for products like our Scalp + Hair Oil or our Face Oil.)

Use Up Your Soap Scraps
Small leftover pieces of your Cleansing Soap Bar can still be useful. You can place your soap scraps into the washing machine fabric softener drawer. As they dissolve, they can help lightly freshen laundry and prevent the last pieces from being thrown away.
Store Nearly Empty Products Upside Down
When bottles and tubes are running low, storing them upside down where possible helps the product settle near the opening. This can make the final uses easier to access. Just take care with very runny formulas, as this method can get a little messy!
Loosen the Last Bits
For wash off products (such as The Hand + Body Wash,) adding a few drops of warm water and gently shaking can help loosen the product from the sides.
Note: Only do this when you plan to finish the product soon. Avoid diluting and storing it for long periods.
Why Many UpCircle Products Come in Jars
You might notice that many UpCircle products are packaged in jars rather than pumps or squeeze bottles. This is a deliberate choice.
Jars make it much easier to access the product inside, meaning you can scoop out every last bit without the frustration of product getting stuck at the bottom. It also reduces the risk of usable product being thrown away simply because it is difficult to reach.
Combined with reusable packaging, this approach helps ensure the products you buy can be used fully, right down to the last drop.
Every Drop Counts
These small habits can help you get more from the products you already have. Using products fully is a simple way to reduce waste in your routine. Small changes in how you store and finish products can make a noticeable difference over time.
