Dr Pippa's top 3 products

  • 2 min read
This blog is written in partnership with our fave Dermatology GP, Dr Pippa Bowes

We asked Dr Pippa for her top UpCircle recommendations and how she got into dermatology.

Tell us a bit about yourself
"My name is Dr Pippa Bowes. I am a Dermatology GP who currently works for the NHS and Private Sector. I see and treat a range of skin conditions, as well as general medical problems. I love my job and feel extremely privileged to do what I do."

When did you realise your passion for dermatology?
"I realised my passion for Dermatology after applying for GP training. I felt at the time that I could support my patients more and wanted the specialist knowledge to do so. Enrolling on extended dermatology training, my skincare addiction soon followed."

If you had to pick your top three UpCircle products, what would they be and why?

"First up it would be the Face Oil with Coffee Extract."

Coffee extract is a fantastic addition to facial oils because it has antioxidant properties, meaning it fights the signs of ageing. I recommend the UpCircle Facial Oil with Coffee Extract as this also contains rosehip & jojoba oils, which are great for hydration and restoration. It's also enriched with Vitamin C, perfect for brightening and depigmentation.

What an amazing tonic! I simply use mine overnight and wake up with refreshed, rejuvenated and radiant skin."

 eye cream

"Another caffeinated top pick for me is the UpCircle Eye Cream with Maple and Coffee

Coffee extract is a powerful antioxidant, which helps to fight the signs of ageing. The use of coffee around the eyes - where ageing is more at risk due to thinner skin - is a clever way to combat this and brighten dark circles. It's like an espresso shot for our skin!

I recommend the UpCircle Eye Cream with Coffee and Maple because it also contains hyaluronic acid to plump fine lines, cucumber to hydrate and maple to protect skin elasticity. I use it in the morning and at night. A perfect sweet treat for my under-eyes!"

 night cream

"The final product in my top three is the Night Cream with Blueberry Extract.

Blueberry is world-famous for antioxidant properties, meaning it restores sun damage and helps to fight the signs of ageing. I recommend UpCircle's Night Cream as it also contains niacinamide to even skin tone, hyaluronic acid to plump and rosehip to hydrate. Together, these powerhouse ingredients help the skin restore and rejuvenate. I use overnight on my face, neck and décolletage.

Also a source of pro-retinol, I wake up with smoother, younger and glowing skin."
