UpCircle Careers | Operations and New Product Support

UpCircle values a diverse workforce. Women, people of colour, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community are strongly encouraged to apply. If there is anything we can to accommodate you to participate fully in the recruitment or interview process please let us know by emailing

We’re looking for someone with a passion for operations, logistics and product development to help maintain and expand our innovative range here at UpCircle.

UpCircle is available globally, and getting our products into big name retailers and people’s hands is arguably the most important thing we do.
Everything we work towards leads us to the point where UpCirclers are in contact with the finished product – but these don’t just land into people’s hands by magic!

As we grow, the movement of stock increases and the complexity of the overall operation does too. Your focus will be to efficiently support the management of goods-in and goods-out whilst also supporting the New Product development manager.

This role offers you responsibility, autonomy, fast-paced startup action, enormous opportunity to learn and build your skillset as a valued member of our operations team - it uniquely links product planning for the future with day to day operations happening in the present.

Job role is available to start immediately.

We're looking for someone:

  • Highly organised and forward thinking
  • Efficient and meticulous
  • With a problem solving approach – willing to adapt to individual customers' needs.
  • Someone with a “can do” attitude and willingness to make it happen, no matter what the request!
  • With great quality control and attention to detail – always aware of how the product is received by the customer.

NPD Support

● Researching, quoting and ordering components (e.g. packaging) for the new products, in line with the expected costs determined by the NPD Manager;
● Once ready and signed off, ensuring that all the artworks are produced by the design agency correctly, and are sent to the packaging manufacturers on time for the products to be launched;
● Reordering packaging, making sure any updates are done as we earn more awards and/ or need to update the designs.
● Monitoring and maintaining the stock at optimal levels at all times.

Logistics and operations

● Processing orders for independents, drop shippers and medium sized accounts, ensuring each specific delivery process is met;
● Liaise with NPD and Ops Manager to make sure all wholesale orders are being shipped on a timely manner;
● Responsible for wholesale customer service and post-shipment enquiries such as damages, quality/manufacturing issues, shipment delays, shortages etc;
● Weekly logging and reporting the above issues;
● Admin support, with active management and follow up of claims with our fulfilment partners and couriers, ensuring that any lost goods or delivery errors are refunded back to us;
● Support the other members of the ops team, including cover for holidays.

In Return

• Salary £21-24k+ (depending on experience)
• Rapidly growing, fast-paced action where no two days are the same
• Option to work from home 2 days a week after probation
• Opportunity to develop and grow across all aspects of the business
• Enough skincare to shake a tree at
• The chance to make a serious impact from the get-go

We’re looking for someone self motivated and energetic - we're a small team, and each of us is fully responsible for our daily, weekly and monthly tasks.

If you've got great ideas we want to hear them, and then we want to see you make them a reality!
